ProMeet does not rely on a subscription model.
Creators have the flexibility to set individual pricing for their posts and events, allowing viewers to pay as they go and/or for the time consumed without a recurring commitment. This is fair to the viewer and to the content provider.
As an example, if a viewer signs up for an event that is 30 USDC per hour and leaves the event 30 minutes after it starts for whatever reason, the viewer will only be charged 15 USDC. This creates flexibility for both the viewer and the content creator.
ProMeet developers have researched that creators based on subscription models, are losing at least $100 for every 18 subscriptions. This happens as 5% of subscribed fans are considered "stealers".
A stealer usually subscribes once every year for only 1 month, downloading all the content for then re-selling it via illegal websites and groups.
By adopting this re-adapted system, ProMeet helps creators giving a stronger value to the content they generate, and upload.
